- Anyone missing one or more teeth understands how tooth loss can make you feel uncomfortable about smiling or eating in public. You may avoid social situations and as a result, begin to feel isolated. This could impact your daily life and your self-confidence.
- Tooth loss causes bone loss & premature aging. Avoid these disheartening problems with the REVOLUTIONARY CONCEPT OF “BE CONFIDENT, SMILE BIG” only at SANRAJ DENTAL STUDIO.
Why should you consider overdentures for tooth replacement?
Too many people who have conventional dentures don’t wear them for the simple fact that they are loose and don’t stay in place.
What is the problem with loose dentures?
Loose dentures lead to embarrassing situations, not being able to eat the foods that you love
üthe problem is enhanced by the ineffectiveness of denture adhesives.
Dental implants offer a way to keep dentures in place and allow you to go about your daily life with confidence. The use of dental implants to stabilize dentures has proven to be successful for many people due to its effectiveness and long-term durability. In fact, it has been reported that dental implants have the highest success rate of any implanted surgical device.
Benefits of denture stabilization
-
- Restores proper chewing, allowing a better diet and improved health
- Improves speech and confidence
- Increases comfort with less irritation of gum tissue
- Ends the cost and inconvenience of denture adhesives
- Often can utilize your existing denture
- Minimally invasive procedure
What exactly is an overdenture?
Titanium posts (implants) are inserted into the jaw, where the bone will heal around them. After the implants have healed, your denture is modified to snap onto the implant abutment. The denture will be secure but may be removed for cleaning with a simple “snap”.
What overdenture options do I have?
Fixed dental implant-supported overdenture
Removable dental implant-supported overdenture
Dental implant-stabilized overdenture
All-on-4® treatment concept
A minimally invasive solution with a fixed full-arch restoration for high patient satisfaction
- The All-on-4®treatment concept is the best solution for full-arch treatment using tilted implants.
- It is a cost-efficient, graft less solution that provides patients with a fixed full-arch prosthesis on the day of surgery.
Characteristics include:
- Full-arch rehabilitation with only four implants
Two straight anterior implants and two implants tilted up to 45º in the posterior - Immediate Function (fixed provisional bridge)
For patients meeting criteria for immediate loading of implants - Graftless procedure
Bone grafting is avoided by tilting the posterior implants, utilizing available bone
ADVANTAGES
- Rapid improvement in the quality of life
- Shorter treatment times
- Lower costs
INDICATIONS
- When the patient presents with or less retainable teeth.
- When stability and retention of conventional dentures will be a problem.
- As a practical measure in preventive dentistry.
- Loss of teeth in one arch while the other is dentulous or partially dentulous.
- Patients with unfavorable tongue positions and muscle attachments.
ADVANTAGES
- Improved support, retention, and stability of the prosthesis.
- Proprioception is maintained.
- Alveolar bone in the area of retained roots may be preserved from resorption.
- Alternative treatment options in patients with insufficient alveolar bone support.
- Increase chewing efficiency.
Root-supported Overdenture
- Preserving natural roots for overdenture treatment is basically to improve the support, retention, and stability of the prosthesis.
- This is a treatment option for patients with low income who can’t afford implant-supported prosthesis and also should be considered a preferred alternative to complete dentures, especially in patients with insufficient alveolar bone support.

IMMEDIATE IMPLANTS
- In some cases, it is possible to extract a tooth and place an implant at the time of extraction. This technique is called Immediate Implant placement. This procedure carries several advantages including the decreased time of treatment and fewer surgical procedures.
- Immediate implants may also have certain drawbacks. If the tooth to be extracted is not in the ideal position, then it may affect the final outcome of the restoration. In addition, it is important that any infection that may be present at the time of extraction is resolved as this may affect the success of implant placement. Whilst many teeth at the front of the mouth have only one root and are suitable for immediate implant placement, this does not necessarily apply to teeth at the back of the mouth that have several roots.
- In order to assess if you are a suitable candidate for Immediate Implant placement, radiographs will need to be taken to assess your root anatomy. The decision as to immediate implant placement is also often made at the time of extraction of the tooth.
- In some cases, it may also be possible to place a restoration on the immediate implant. This is termed
IMMEDIATE LOADING IMPLANTS.
- Factors that may influence this decision are:
- The amount of bone available for implant placement.
- The way that your teeth come together and the forces they made exert on the newly placed implant(s).

TEETH IN AN HOUR
-
- NO WAITING PERIOD….NEW TEETH IMMEDIATELY!!!
- It is now possible to go from missing teeth to having functional and esthetically pleasing teeth in just one session. If you’d like a beautiful smile without having to wait 4-6 months, as is typical with traditional dental implants, SANRAJ offers TEETH-IN-AN-HOUR.
- Benefits:
• Greater accuracy of dental implant placement
• Fewer dental visits
• Minimal discomfort and swelling
• Resume activities the following dayTEETH-IN-AN-HOUR is a revolutionary concept providing patients with fully functioning teeth or dental implants in one single procedure that lasts about an hour. This technology was recently developed by Nobel Biocare and allows for collaboration between both the restorative doctor and the surgeon. This merging of knowledge and experience achieves not only increased safety but also a more precise implant placement. In addition, the fabrication of a final prosthesis is completed prior to the surgery. The computer-guided implant surgery is done in an arthroscopic fashion without requiring any flap reflection. This benefits the patient in that there is less postoperative discomfort, less swelling, and less bruising. Often patients can resume their normal activities within a few days.
- Thanks to TEETH-IN-AN-HOUR you can leave SANRAJ DENTAL STUDIO with a beautifully restored smile after just one visit! We would be happy to perform a consultation to determine your eligibility for Teeth in a Day; contact us for more information.
